A quick guide for Mac users.
As you try out different trials and plugins, on occasion you might get strange errors upon startup of plugins you don’t have access to anymore. A simple way to clean the errors is to try the following:
- quit out of Cubase and launch the Terminal
- type “sudo so”
- enter your password
- type “cd /Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/VST Sound”
- type “ls *(the name of the item listed)*” to confirm you really want to delete it
- type “rm *(the name of item to delete)* to remove it.
Always make sure you are typing case sensitive and double check what you are deleting, just in case.
